Why did I want this book?
I saw this graphic novel in the new LBB-cataloge and the cover looks so great!
Synopsis:
The threat of Mortmain's Infernal Devices looms as the Shadowhunters race to work out a way to counteract the mechanical monsters. Meanwhile, plans for Tessa's marriage to Jem are underway, despite her fiancé's failing health and the unresolved feelings between her and Will. When Tessa is captured, Will must leave his comrade behind to save the woman they both love... But with the final missing piece--Tessa herself--in Mortmain's possession, can anything stop his plot for revenge?

Cover:
The cover is really pretty. Specially the colors and the art! Sometimes, graphic novels look close to creepy ... (as an example: Hush, Hush by Beccy Fitzpatrick). But as I said the art in this one is very pretty.

Title:
Yay, they kept the original title!

Writing style & art:
I liked the drawings because they were very detailed and pretty. It reminded me of a classic manga. So, if you are into Japanese comics, that book is for you! Of course, they didn't adopt every part of the original book. That's impossible, considering that Clockwork Princes has 600 pages! But this graphic navel contains the main story.

Characters:
The focus of the story lies on Tessa and the question: Will or Jem? Of course, I am not going to tell you, how it will end. And since almost everybody has read the original books, you guys already know the characters. Tessa got engaged with Jem who suffers from his illness. He gets weaker every day.
Will is jealous as hell, but he knows, that Jem will eventually die, so he won't interfere.
But of course, that's not all, the enemy is on it's way and there will be a final battle!

Noteworthy:
If you liked the original book, you will like this one too!

Stuck in my Head:

What I didn't like:
Nothing to complain.

Quick and dirty:
A good addition for all Cassandra Clare fans. The art is pretty, the comic contains the main story and it has the same happy end.
You should definitely check it out!
Thank you to ...
